A Sense of Reykjavík
- Cultural & Tasting Walk with a Dash of Nature
This is a combined driving and cultural walking tour where the purpose is to experience Reykjavik through your senses. You get to explore nature in the outskirts of Reykjavik, taste traditional Icelandic food and explore interesting sights in the city centre. The tour starts with a bus ride to the outskirts of Reykjavik to experience the radiating energy of nature and in summer the amazing birdlife. You will be driven back to the city centre where by foot we stroll the streets passing cultural, historical and architectural sights, informing you as we go along about the saga behind each landmark. It's like a walk through the life of Reykjavik City threading through narrow alleys framed with old houses, up winding lanes and around out-of-the way corners. During the walk you will be given tasting samples of traditional Icelandic food. The tour ends by the often busy harbor. This is a fantastic one of a kind cultural, tasting & nature tour.

Gullfoss- Geysir-Fontana baths
For almost a century, locals have been enjoying the healing powers of the natural steam baths in the community of Laugarvatn, next to the lake of the same name.
Only an hour from Reykjavík, nature has created unique surroundings at Laugarvatn FONTANA, where healing geothermal heat simmers directly from the ground and the landscape is painted with beautiful mountain ranges.

The new thermal baths being constructed at Laugarvatn FONTANA build on this tradition. We are creating a new wellness centre on the very spot where natural geothermal steam and hot springs meet in an environment of unsurpassed beauty.
Laugarvatn FONTANA will be a highlight of any wellness weekend in Iceland. Laugarvatn FONTANA will include three geothermally heated baths, a sauna, a warm sand beach, and access to the pristine waters of Lake Laugarvatn. A visit to the open air baths at Laugarvatn FONTANA will also give you the opportunity to experience the ever-changing Icelandic weather as the thermal baths can be enjoyed all year around. In fact, wintertime makes the visit to the thermal baths an even more memorable experience.
The excursion starts at 09:00 with a visit to the Gullfoss Geysir area, lunch at Laugarvatn with ending at Fontana bath. Estimated arrival time back in Reykjavik is at 16:00

BLUE LAGOON - Experience
Geothermal wonder
A visit to the Blue Lagoon Iceland geothermal spa is an important part of your stay in Iceland. Guests renew their relationship with nature, soak up the scenic beauty and enjoy breathing the clean, fresh air while relaxing in the warm geothermal seawater. It is no surprise that the readers of "Conde Nast Traveller" voted Blue Lagoon as the best medical spa worldwide. For five consecutive years Blue Lagoon has been awarded the Blue Flag environmental recognition granted to natural beaches and marinas.

The water's temperature is 37-39°C / 98-102°F. The lagoon holds six million liters of geothermal seawater, which is renewed every 40 hours. Regular sampling shows that "common" bacteria do not thrive in this ecosystem, thus additional cleansers such as chlorine are not needed.
The Blue Lagoon geothermal seawater is a part of an ecocycle where nature and science work in harmony. The seawater originates 2000 meter/6562 ft beneath the ground where it is heated by earth's natural forces. At this depth the temperature is 240°C/464°F and the pressure is 36 times the pressure on the earth's surface. The geothermal seawater comes into contact with cooling magmatic intrusions and captures the earth's minerals, resulting in this unique natural source known for its healing power and actives.
The composition of minerals in the water is very distinctive and has a high level of silica. Its environment is characterized by high temperature and salinity level of 2.5% which is 1/3 of the ocean's salinity level.
Included in tour Bus transfer with guidance, entrance to the Blue Lagoon, towel, Bathrobe, facial mask and drink at the lagoon bar
