It is with great pleasure that, on behalf of the Society and the Organizing Committee, I invite you to attend The Scandinavian Transplantation Society XXVI Congress to be held in Reykjavik Iceland May 9 – 11, 2012.
The venue is HARPA - our new Reykjavík Concert Hall and Conference Centre, located at the harbour with a view to mount Esja. The harbour is at the centre of town so attendees should be able to enjoy Reykjavik to the fullest.
The scientific program and the format of the congress will be in the traditional form. We aim for a fruitful, constructive and interactive congress with numerous scientific papers presented and State-of-the Art lectures giving rise to debates and productive discussions.
Iceland in early spring is well worth visiting and it would be a good idea to set aside a little time for excursions.
