About SNSUS
SNSUS (Stiftelsen Nordiska Sällskapet för Upplysning om Spelberoende) was founded in 1999 and the first conference about problem gambling was held in Oslo in the year of 2000. This was followed with conferences in Stockholm 2001, Odense 2002, Lillehamar 2003, Malmö 2005, Copenhagen 2007 and Helsinki in 2009. The conferences have been important in extending the knowledge base about problem gambling and its treatment in the Nordic countries. Nowadays the foundation covers all Nordic countries; Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
