Gissur Páll Gissurarson graduated from the Reykjavík College of Music. He further studied at Conservatorio G.B. Martini in Bologna. He lived in Italy for seven years studying and performing. He has been singing with the Icelandic Opera and has performed in various musicals and operas in Europe, Japan and Iceland where he now lives. |

CAPUT is a group of 6-8 players from the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. The new music ensemble CAPUT was founded in 1987 by young Icelandic musicians. It started as a small chamber group but grew rapidly to a sinfonietta with up to 18 players. The size of CAPUT has always been flexible. Each member can stand out as a soloist and the ensemble plays duos, trios, quartets, octets etc. |

Sigríður Ósk Kristjánsdóttir graduated from the Reykjavík College of Music. She furthered her studies at Royal College of Music in London graduating with an Artist Diploma and a master´s degree. Sigríður regularly gives recitals, performs oratorios and appears in operas mainly in the UK and in Iceland. She has performed in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Kings Place, Cadogan, and St. Martin in the Fields, with Glyndebourne Opera, English Touring Opera, Classical Opera and the Icelandic Opera. |

Hrönn Þráinsdóttir graduated from the Reykjavík College of Music and later from the Music Academy of Freiburg with a diploma in music performance, lied accompaniment and music education. She also gained a master's degree from the Music Academy of Stuttgart. Hrönn has given concerts and accompanied singers in Iceland, Germany, Italy and Austria. She is a member of the Ísafold Chamber Orchestra in Reykjavík which concentrates on modern music. |

The Ceremony will end with a reception and light refreshments in the foyer of Eldborg. |

The City of Reykjavík cordially invites all delegates and registered accompanying persons to the Reception. |

Light refreshment will be served and Guitar Islancio – a jazz trio will perform during the reception. |

The Reykjavík Art Museum, The Harbour House (Listasafn Reykjavíkur – Hafnarhúsinu) is located in the city centre, by the harbour, the address is Tryggvagata 17. Following the Reception there are many very nice restaurants close by worth visiting. |

The Congress Gala Dinner is at Restaurant Perlan, where a three course dinner with wine will be served after a welcome drink. |

Icelandic artists, Ms. Sigrún Hjálmtýsdóttir soprano and Mr. Bergþór Pálsson bariton will perform during and The Millionaires' will play for dance after dinner. |

While your taste buds delight to superb cuisine, you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Reykjavík and beyond as the restaurant gently completes a full rotation every two hours. |
