Practical Information
The EABCT 2011 Congress, takes place at Harpa
Concert Hall and Conference Centre, Austurbakki 2,

Congress assistants
Congress assistants dressed in EABCT Congress sweat shirts will be present in the venues and in lecture halls and ready to assist in all practical matters.
Certificates of Attendance
Certificate of Attendance will be included with the congress materials.
Certificate of Attendance for Pre-Congress Workshops and In-Congress Workshops will be given to participants at the end of each workshop.
Chairs
Please be present in the lecture hall at least 10 minutes prior to your session. It is important that sessions stay on schedule. It is vital that all speakers observe their time allotment.
Coffee breaks
Coffee, tea and refreshments during coffee breaks will be served in the foyer of all lecture halls, both at Harpa and venues offsite Harpa.
Badges
All participants are requested to wear their personal badge throughout the Congress. The badge is the entrance ticket to all sessions except the workshops.
One day conference participants receive badges with different colors:
September 1 – Yellow
September 2 – Red
September 3 – Green
Should you misplace your badge a replacement can be obtained at the Registration and Hospitality Desk.
Business centre
A Business centre is located on Level K1 in the Harpa.

Location: Restaurant Iðnó, Vonarstræti 3, 101 Reykjavík.
It is located by the pond Tjörnin, opposite the City Hall.
For EABCT Board members and national representatives lunch will be served during the meetings.
Excursions – Reykjavík Excursions
Various excursions for participants are available. Information and tickets can be obtained at the Registration and Hospitality Desk.
A representative from Reykjavík Excursions will be available
at the Desk between 10:00–16:00 August 31–September 3.

Lunches
A light sandwich lunch for all registered participants is served in Harpa only during the congress days, September 1–September 3.
Poster display, mounting and removal
Posters are displayed in the foyer of the lecture hall Kaldalón and authors are responsible for mounting their own poster at the beginning of their poster session and removing it at the end of the session. Congress assistants will be available to help and provide double tape.

Posters are numbered in the programme and the boards accordingly. Posters should be mounted on corresponding poster board. Posters left on poster boards at the end of each day will be removed by the organizers who will not be held liable for any loss or damage to the poster.

Speakers
All speakers are asked to bring their presentation at least 15 minutes in advance of the session and upload it in the appropriate folder on the computer in the session hall. Congress assistants will be on hand in all lecture rooms to support speakers.
Speakers' Room
The Speakers' rooms are located on the 4th floor of Harpa in rooms "Nes" and "Vík". Presenters and Chair persons have admission to the rooms and computers with internet access and printers. Congress assistants will be available during the day to assist.
