Paper Presentation Guidelines
Each presenter will have 10 to 12 minutes for his/her presentation, leaving an additional 3 minutes for questions and discussions after the presentation. Each paper session will be led by an individual that will facilitate questions and discussions after each presentation. This will be organized by the scientific committee of the congress.
It is very important that presenters respect the given time limit and prepare their presentation accordingly.
Presentations should be prepared in power point. Computer and projector will be provided by the congress. No over-head projector will be available.
Presenters should arrive at the location of their session latest 15 minutes before the scheduled beginning of their session. Bring your presentation on a USB drive so it can easily be uploaded to the congress computer. An assistant will be available to help with this. Please note that uploading presentations from a personal computer will not be possible.
During the congress, presenters can visit a preview room in the congress building Harpa, in Rooms: Vík and Nes on the 4th floor, where they can view their presentations on a computer to ensure that all is in order.
Please note that most paper sessions are off-site. Familiarize yourself with the map provided with your congress materials. The off-site venues are within a 15 minute walking distance from the congress site. Assistants can help give you directions to your presentation site.
