Explore the world's most northern capital. A good start to your Iceland experience. This is a detailed and comprehensive introduction to Reykjavik's past and present. During this tour Reykjavik’s main attractions are highlighted on foot and by bus. The main landmarks, such as The Pearl, Hallgrímskirkja church, the National Museum of Iceland, the harbour and the famous 101 Reykjavik neighbourhood are visited.

There are several museums in the area such as the Icelandic settlement museum in Borgarnes, Snorrastofa culture and history exhibition. Overnight in Borgarfjörður area

Day 3. 27.08 The Snæfellsnes peninsula
Snæfellesnes Peninsula juts out from Iceland's west coast, like a long arm and in many ways it is a microcosm of the whole island. Visit Bjarnarhöfn shark processing farm and learn about the Greenland shark and how Icelanders have used it. Overnight in Borgarfjörður area

Day 4. 28.08 The Golden Circle
Today's program is called Golden Circle with Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir hot springs. Visit to Thingvellir National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It offers numerous hiking trails; many are ideal for short and leisurely walks. Thingvellir is the cradle of the nation's history and independence of its people. Thingvellir is also a site of exceptional geological interest and the ravine edge is the perfect spot for an overview of the tectonic forces that have shaped the landscape. Overnight in south Iceland.

Day 5. 29.08 South shore of Iceland
Visit the waterfalls Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss. Nearby is the lovely Skogar folk museum with turf houses. The bird cliffs of Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara are simply amazing. We recommend also a stroll on the black lava beaches of Vík. In South Iceland you find also the two glaciers Eyjafjallajökull and Myrdalsjökull. Overnight in Reykjavík
