Registration and Accommodation

Registration guidelines

All participants should register on-line. All reservations including registration, accommodation and social program should be made on the same electronic registration form. Events included in the registration fee should also be marked on the registration form. Each delegate must use a separate registration. Accompanying persons are to be registered on the same form as the delegate.

Payment is to be processed when registered and by Credit Card.
To register you need your credit card number, exp. date and the 3 digit security number at the back of the credit card.Visa, MasterCard/EuroCard and Diners Club are accepted.

Alterations
Alterations to your registration must be made in writing and sent to Congress Reykjavik by fax or e-mail.

Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. An administration fee of ISK 6.000 will then be charged.

Confirmation
After submitting your electronic registration you will receive an e-mail confirmation / reciept.

Cancellations and refunds

A written notification of cancellation should be sent to Congress Reykjavik. Cancellation made before July 19, 2010 will be charged a service fee of ISK 9.000. For cancellations made after July 19, we regret that no refunds of registration fee can be made.
Accommodation will be refunded if cancellation is made 48 hours in advance and in writing.

All refunds will be processed after the Congress and by Credic Cart. Neither the Organizers nor the Congress Secretariat can be held responsible for any financial loss resulting from exchange rate fluctuations.

Accommodation

Full payment for accommodation is required when registering on-line. The accommodation is to be paid in advance by credit card when registering. You need your credit card number, exp. date and the 3 digit security number at the back of the credit card.

All reservations are handled by Congress Reykjavik. Possible changes of your hotel reservation as well as cancellation must be made in writing to Congress Reykjavik. Please do not contact the hotel directly.

Hotel Reykjavik Centrum, Hotel Reykjavik Centrum is a 4 star hotel in the heart of the city centre. It is located on one of Reykjavik’s oldest streets, Adalstraeti, in a newly renovated building, the oldest part of which was built in 1764. The exhibition Reykjavik 871+/-2 is placed under the hotel as it is built around the ruin of one of the first houses in Iceland found when constructions of the hotel started.

Hotel CabinHotel Cabin offers 3 different types of rooms. The standard rooms are the rooms that the hotel already had to offer but by offering the deluxe and superior rooms we can now serve a more diverse group of tourists. The main difference between the standard rooms and the deluxe rooms is that the deluxe rooms are bigger and come with a bathtub with shower. The superior rooms are the best rooms in the hotel. They are all situated on the hotel's 7th floor and offer a magnificent view of the city or the ocean. To ensure that the guest enjoys the view fully these rooms come with big windows. Furthermore, these rooms come with free wireless internet, a refrigerator, a tee – and coffee maker and a hairdryer.

While many of the rooms offer excellent scenic views, 23 of them have windows facing directly onto the hotel corridor. This has proved a particularly welcome option among those visitors who have found it difficult to sleep in the brightness of Reykjavík's long summer nights.

The hotel is within walking distance from the city centre and the conference venue. The hotel is operated as a summer hotel from 03.06 – 23.08 as it is a student dormitory during winter time.
