The most beautiful sights of West Iceland are featured in this popular day tour. We drive through Hvalfjörður fjord to the Borgarfjörður district where we'll visit Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring. We drive further inland to the Hraunfossar and Barnafossar waterfalls and on through the Húsafell woodlands.
At Húsafell we leave the main road and take the highland trail to Iceland's second largest ice field, Langjökull glacier.
On the glacier you’ll have the opportunity to go for an hour-long guided snowmobiling tour.
On the way back to Reykjavik we drive through the Kaldidalur valley, Iceland's highest mountain track on to Þingvellir National Park which is known for it’s exceptional beauty and historical importance.

Choices of roads and availability of activities are condition dependent.
For snowmobiling tours drivers need to present a valid driver’s license. 2 persons share each snowmobile. Lunch and refreshments are not included in the prices and please note that operation period is dependent on snow layers.

On the Golden Circle Gullfoss-Geysir tour you can walk around the world-famous Geysir geothermal area, a geothermal field where hot springs are in abundance, geysers explode and pools of mud bubble.
One of the Golden Circles many highlights is the Gullfoss waterfall, the queen of Iceland's waterfalls. Finally, but no less spectacular is a visit to the Þingvellir National Park.
This is the original site of the oldest existing parliament in the world. The Great Atlantic rift is clearly visible, a rift that is slowly pulling Iceland apart along tectonic plates. Lunch and refreshments not included.

An adventurous ride from the Íshestar Riding Centre into the lava fields surrounding Mt. Helgafell volcano to the old Kaldársel sheep corral or to Lake Hvaleyrarvatn through lava fields and across beautiful hillsides. View rough lava fields and look for different formations in the lava, maybe you will be able to spot a troll or two. The beautiful Bláfjöll Mountains tower above on the horizon. All riding is on excellent riding paths.
Riding Centre: The Íshestar Riding Centre is unique here in Iceland with facilities as good as they get. It’s set in beautiful surroundings just outside the town of Hafnarfjörður, about 10 minutes drive from Reykjavík. The facilities and the fascinating area provide endless opportunities of riding, hiking and other outdoor activities.
Included in package: Transfers to and from the Riding Centre, horse riding as per itinerary, riding helmets, rubber boots, and rainwear or a warm outfit during the ride.English and Scandinavian speaking guidance. Please note that you cannot take any backpacks or bags with you on the ride but there are safety boxes at the Riding Centre where you can store your valuables.

Our Information Centre/Exhibition, a multimedia presentation about whales, seabirds and other marine life, is housed in a converted fishing vessel alongside the touring vessels. Admission to the exhibition is free for all our passengers. All our trips include sightseeing around the puffin islands during the puffin season, from May 20th to August 15th.
The various types of whales commonly sighted include minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and the popular humpback whales. While we sail, we are accompanied by sea birds such as gannets, puffins, guillemots, cormorants, gulls, kittiwakes, arctic terns and more.
To ensure that the animals are not disturbed by our presence, we approach the whales very carefully.

To develop and implement our policy and to manage our environmental aspects, we use Environmental Management Systems.
